I thought, iPad is a new gadget that could be used for all living creatures, both human and animals, both young and old, men and women.

Iggy and his owner have discovered that the iPad was apparently developed for the convenience of cats. Unlike conventional laptops, it doesn’t have to be opened. The touch screen does not require opposable thumbs to use. Many programs do not require typing. There’s no mouse to tempt or distract. And the screen can lay flat on a surface. Purrrrfect! 99 year old grandma gets an iPad
The iPad is being used by everyone, we have seen cat, do, babies and now a 99 year old grandma. This is an awesome story, mainly because it shows just how nice the iPad can be, sure it may not be perfect for everyone, but for Virginia it may be close. Not to mention, this was her first computer.
As far as what she is doing, well, the iPad is allowing her to do things like read and write again. The iPad was noted as being a ONLY reading and writing device as she does not have any Internet connection. And because of the bright display and ability to make the print much larger she is able to read.
Additionally, she is writing, well typing anyway. Virginia is reportedly writing her poetry and doing it using the iWork app which allows her to write and manage the docs.
According to Ginny Adelsheym (Ginny Adelsheim), daughter of a respected user of, iPad "changed her life." Incidentally, before that of Virginia Campbell never used a computer. And in honor of the iPad, she wrote a humorous poem, limerick, typing it, of course, on the same plate. And here is a sample of her work, kind of awesome.
"To this technical-ninny it’s clear
In my compromised 100th year
That to read and to write
Are again within sight
Of this Apple iPad pioneer."
